High School/GED preferred. AS/BS/Technical school desired.
- Must have previous piping experience and be familiar with submarine piping systems
- Must also be familiar with submarine testing procedures and policies
- A combination of 3+ years Marine Pipefitting/Plumbing experience is preferred
- Education and/or training (i.e. Technical School, AS/BS degree in engineering discipline is preferred
- Background in pipe installation, pipefitting, welding and plumbing preferred
- MDU graduate a plus
- Previous direct supervision or leadership experience is preferred
- Proficiency in blueprint and drawing interpretation required
Good organizational, presentation and communication skills. Ability to interact with various levels of employees in the organization. Demonstrated leadership skills. Must be available to work all shifts, including extended hours and weekends as business needs dictate. Must possess strong PC skills including proficiency with the MS Office suite & Lotus Notes. Navy/military preferred.Applicant must be granted a minimum of an interim secret clearance prior to position commencing. They must be able to obtain and maintain a final secret clearance to remain in that position.
