    Job Description

    The 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems/components.   The technician reports directly to the maintenance operations supervisor and must possess the ability to build and maintain relationships with production and vendors. The ability to work with others and independently in a fast paced environment is crucial.

    Education/ Experience


    • This is a 3rd Shift position.  Candidates must be available for & willing to work 3rd shift.
    • Previous demonstrated mechanical/electrical or hydraulic trade school or apprenticeship required
    • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics is required
    • Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
    • Candidate must show proficiency in hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 psi operating pressure
    • Working from ladders and lifts while wearing all necessary fall protection is required
    • Employee may be required to work overtime and /or stay into a later shift to return equipment to service
    • Experience using various types of diagnostic tools and meters to include volt meters, amp meters, resistive measuring devices, meggers, data loggers, micrometers, calipers, test gauges, and temperature measuring devices is essential and required 
    • The ability to follow procedural compliance and engineered procedures is required
    • Willingness to further ones knowledge base and skillset in a growing company with specialized equipment is necessary


    Preferred / Desired Skills:

    • Specific trade licensing preferred
    • Previous experience with PLCs to include effectively diagnosing analog and digital field components, along with input/output devices is preferred


    Applicants must apply for a DOD Security Clearance as a condition of employment. They will be required to obtain and maintain a final secret clearance to remain in this position.
